Debbie has always had very keen interest in music since she was little. She started learning the digital piano since she was 6 . At the age of 17 , she began her career as a singer, performing in various restaurants, cafes, and lounges, and also on events and weddings. Few years later, she decided to pursue her studies in music and enrolled herself in the Bachelor of Contemporary Music ( Hons.) in UCSI as a contemporary vocal major.
In the year of 2015 , she took part in the well – known local singing competition – Astro Star Quest ( Astro 新秀 大赛 ), and walked away with the 2nd Runner – up title. She was then sent to Taiwan for one of the most internationally -viewed televised singing competitions, Top Million Star ( 星光大道 ), and made it to the Top 50.
What makes Debbie always in demand in the market, is her ability to sing in many languages and dialects, and also her versatility when it comes to performing different types of repertoire.
